The term "Asian Serengeti" often refers to Mongolia's Eastern Steppe, a vast, open grassland that resembles Africa's Serengeti in its size and wildlife. This region is home to one of the world’s largest remaining intact grassland ecosystems and hosts massive migrations of Mongolian gazelles, akin to the famous wildebeest migration in Africa.
The Eastern Steppe is rich in biodiversity, with species like wolves, wild asses and a variety of birds. Its expansive, untouched landscape and seasonal migrations make it one of Asia’s most remarkable natural wonders, offering a unique wilderness experience similar to the Serengeti in Africa.
