Valley of Fire is a state park located in the U.S. state of Nevada, about 50 miles northeast of Las Vegas. The park features stunning red sandstone formations, petroglyphs, and a unique desert landscape that has been featured in many movies and TV shows. The area gets its name from the red sandstone formations, which appear to be on fire when lit by the sun. Visitors can enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities in the park. The Valley of Fire is also home to several wildlife species, including bighorn sheep, coyotes, and lizards.
