The Abbaye de Notre-Dame de Belloc is a Benedictine monastery located in the Basque region of southwestern France. The monastery was founded in 1070 and is known for its beautiful Romanesque church, which dates back to the 12th century. The church features a simple, yet elegant design with rounded arches, thick stone walls, and a bell tower that stands separate from the main building. The interior of the church is equally impressive, with a spacious nave, a stunning altar, and beautiful stained-glass windows that let in natural light. The church of Abbaye de Belloc is still an active place of worship, and visitors are welcome to attend mass and explore the grounds of the monastery.
