The Black-Necked Crane is the national bird of Bhutan, and the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre is a conservation center located in the Phobjikha Valley of Bhutan. The center was established to raise awareness about the importance of conserving the habitat of these birds and to protect their population, which is considered endangered.
The Black-Necked Crane Information Centre is open to visitors and offers educational exhibits and displays about the cranes, as well as information about the local environment and culture. Visitors can also observe the cranes in their natural habitat from the center's observation deck, and guided tours are available.
The center is located in the Gangtey Valley, which is a popular tourist destination in Bhutan known for its natural beauty and cultural attractions. The valley is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and is home to several important monasteries and other cultural sites.
